Felicity Beallo is a bilingual mediator, conflict resolution professional, and community engagement leader with more than 11 years of experience facilitating difficult conversations, navigating complex interpersonal dynamics, and building collaborative solutions across diverse communities.
Originally from South America, Felicity studied Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, an academic foundation that continues to inform her thoughtful and nuanced approach to conflict, communication, and human relationships. She later established her life and career in California, where she developed extensive experience at the intersection of communication, negotiation, leadership, community engagement, and family strengthening.
As the founder of Bilingual Mediations LLC, Felicity provides English and Spanish mediation and conflict resolution services to individuals, families, and organizations navigating sensitive or complex situations. Her approach combines strategic structure, cultural fluency, emotional intelligence, and careful facilitation to create space for productive dialogue and sustainable agreements.
Felicity brings a distinctive combination of professional leadership and deeply human facilitation. During her tenure as Community Engagement Manager at Sierra Community House, she directed bilingual community engagement programs, supervised multidisciplinary teams of up to 12 staff members, managed grants and reporting, and led countywide Latino outreach initiatives. Her work required coordinating diverse stakeholders, addressing complex community needs, and creating meaningful partnerships across cultural and linguistic differences.
Previously, at the North Tahoe Family Resource Center, Felicity advanced through five leadership roles while directing prevention, education, and family-strengthening programs, supervising staff, and facilitating workshops in both English and Spanish. Earlier in her career, she served as Head of Sales & Business Development for Ediciones Colihue, leading sales strategy, marketing, and operations.
Across these roles, Felicity has consistently worked in environments where communication, trust, and the ability to navigate differing perspectives are essential. She has facilitated difficult conversations, supported people experiencing conflict or crisis, negotiated competing interests, and helped organizations and communities move toward collaborative solutions.
Felicity is particularly skilled at:
Since October 2023, Felicity has been certified in Mediation through the Mediation Training Center, under the instruction of Melissa Mangiaracina, Washoe County Judge, and Margaret M. Crowley, Esq., both highly experienced and seasoned mediators. She also holds certifications and specialized training in mental health peer support, crisis intervention, Mental Health First Aid, and chronic disease self-management facilitation through Stanford’s Patient Education Research Center.
Her professional background is complemented by extensive experience in trauma-informed approaches, crisis response, facilitation, negotiation, restorative practices, and community-based leadership. This multidisciplinary perspective allows her to recognize that conflict is rarely only about the issue being discussed, it is often shaped by communication patterns, stress, identity, cultural context, and unmet needs.
Felicity’s leadership and commitment to equity have been recognized through the Chris Ballin Award, presented by the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation in 2021. She has been recognized for advancing cultural competency, equity, and access, as well as for ensuring that historically underrepresented voices are included in decision-making processes. Her work with Spanish-speaking communities has made her a trusted partner in creating meaningful access and engagement.
As a bilingual mediator, Felicity brings particular sensitivity to the ways language and culture can influence how conflict is experienced and understood. She believes that effective mediation is not simply about reaching an agreement, it is about creating a process in which people feel heard, respected, and able to participate meaningfully in shaping the outcome.
At the heart of Bilingual Mediations is Felicity’s belief that conflict, when approached with care, structure, and intention, can become an opportunity for greater clarity, understanding, and forward movement.
Felicity brings these qualities to every mediation, helping individuals, families, and organizations move from difficult conversations toward meaningful resolution.

Professional mediation grounded in cultural awareness, and integrity.
